Home Inspection Review - Typical
The following is a summary of a typical Home Inspection including but not limited to homes, swimming pools, decks and out buildings. We also offer roof inspections and moisture analysis as separate services.

Note - We are not a certified termite, asbestos, radon or mold inspection service; but, if visible signs are present, we will advise you and recommend further evaluation by a certified specialist


  •  Exterior components including building covering (wall cladding) such as Brick Veneer, Stucco and EIFS, Shiplap, Composite wood siding, Vinyl Siding, Lapboard Siding and Stone and Simulated Stone Veneer among others
  • Connected decks constructed of any material
  • Electrical Service Drop or Service Lateral including Panel Boards and Sub-Panels, Ampacity, GFCI and AFCI receptacles and Branch Circuits
  • Incoming water shutoff valve location along with gas meter location (if applicable) and shutoff valve location
  • Gutters, Downspouts, Splashblocks and Landscape drainage and grading as well as Irrigation Systems
  • Roof composition type such as Asphalt Shingles, Fiberglass Impregnated Shingles, Wood/Cedar Shake, Metal, Cement Slate and Clay tile amongst others
  • Brick and Stone Chimneys, Metal Chimneys, Plumbing and Appliance Roof Vents, Flashing of all types including Drip Edge, Counter Flashing, Cricket Flashing and all roof penetrations
  • Conventional HVAC and Heat Pump Condensing Units (exterior visual, capacity, date of manufacture and size determination) 


  • ​All Habitable Spaces
  • ​Interior Wall Construction and Finish, All Windows, Kitchen Cabinets, Branch Circuit Receptacles, GFCI's/AFCI's, Celing Fans, Doors, Closets and All Light Fixtures
  • Ranges and Cooktops, buil-in Microwave Ovens
  • Bathroom fixtures, faucets, Conventional and Whirlpool Tubs, Showers, Heat, Vent and Light Fixtures
  • Hot Water Heaters both tank and tankless​
  • Dishwashers, Food Waste Grinders and Trash Compactors
  • The presence of Smoke Detectors in required locations
  • ​Foundation Slab Elevation Differential, the latest in slab elevation determination using newly developed altimeter technology!


  • Insulation, Visible Framing Structure, Ventillation, HVAC Heater and Air Handler if applicable (burner if accessible)
  • HVAC Evaporation (excluding coil condition) Unit and Condensate Drainage and Collection Systems
  • HVAC Ductwork
  • Ridge Vents, Spiral Turbines, Eave Clearances 
  • Visible condition of accessible roof sheathing (moisture stains) looking for signs of deterioration or damage
